As the Mayor of Badalona, I am pleased to introduce you to this wonderful city where the sea, history, and culture come together to offer a unique experience. Badalona’s coastline is one of our greatest prides. With nearly five kilometers of expansive beaches bathed in Mediterranean sunshine, our coast is an ideal space for relaxation, leisure, and enjoyment. Alongside our beaches, the Badalona marina offers a wide range of nautical activities, making our city a perfect destination for sea enthusiasts. It will be even more so in the near future when the Badalona Canal project, currently under development, is completed with a waterfront boulevard and an expanded area for nautical activities.

Cultural enthusiasts will be delighted to know that our city has a true treasure: the remains of Baetulo, the ancient Roman city, one of the most important archaeological sites in the region. These remains are located beneath the Museum of Badalona, where visitors can walk along the foundations of buildings, discover baths and mosaics, and immerse themselves in the life of ancient Baetulo. Badalona is, above all, a Mediterranean city. Our rich gastronomy reflects this identity, with a culinary offering ranging from traditional dishes to innovative cuisine in the most avant-garde restaurants. Additionally, our leisure options are extensive and diverse, including cultural events, traditional festivals, and celebrations that reflect the city’s vibrant spirit.
